Exploring My New Home in North Carolina, Episode 14

I’ve been in Western North Carolina for almost two months now, and I’ve had a great time exploring my new home.

I arrived during the peak of the fall leaves, which was magical, and something I had never seen before. Seeing the hillsides covered in reds and oranges was at the same time beautiful to my eyes and confusing to my brain, as it was unlike anything I had ever experienced.

I was so grateful to have arrived when I did, because I wouldn’t have wanted to miss out on such a magnificent change of the seasons.

I've been on a foraging tour, I started foraging for wild edibles in my yard, I went hiking and have been working on sewing projects. It's been a busy couple of months!
