Colorado Snow Storm 2021 (Colorado Mountain Life), Episode 7

Colorado mountain living can be a little rough and adventurous in the winter—especially when we have a big snow storm.

Last weekend I was preparing for snowpocalypse 2021, where it was predicted that we would get 40 inches of heavy, wet snow.

Cabin life in a storm like that can get pretty rustic if the power goes out—having to cook on a wood stove, or camp stove, and having to pre-fill buckets of water in order to be able to flush the toilet. But that’s life in a Colorado mountain cabin, and I love it.

And because living in the mountains of Colorado can be pretty unpredictable, we don’t always get the weather that’s predicted for us.
