Fall Flowers

Throughout the summer I buy flowers for myself to brighten up my house.

They unfortunately don’t last very long in the heat, though, so toward the end of the summer I usually start to give up.

I saw these beautiful flowers at the market yesterday, though.

They were so beautiful that I just couldn’t pass them up.

It’s been a lot cooler out, so I figured they’d last longer than the summer flowers do, and I thought I’d photograph them to make the memory last even longer.

I used to avoid buying cut flowers, because they’re not cheap, and they unfortunately end up dying pretty quickly.

But there’s something about looking at a beautiful bouquet of flowers that really brightens up my day.

That bright spot, I’ve discovered, is worth it.
